What: The mission of the Toys for Tots program is to collect unwrapped toys. When: November and December and to distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Fifteen local high school students are all about grit and determination. They are enrolled in a dual enrollment anatomy and physiology class that requires they show up for classes twice a week at 6:30 a.m. After the early bird class held at the Greenwood Complex each student then drives to their respective school for a day of regular classes.

The American Red Cross is not only for blood drives, but also helps those in need during disasters such as storms, flooding and fires.
